Spanish Elementary Education
Spanish Elementary Education, Spanish K-12 Education, Spanish Secondary Education
Degree Overview
If you want to inspire your future students with a love of Spanish language and culture, you need a major that draws on two of Calvin’s most celebrated programs.
First, you’ll be part of Calvin’s highly respected, top-rated education program. You’ll get real, in-classroom teaching experience as early as your sophomore year. Calvin’s connections to hundreds of area schools means you’ll get practical teaching experience in schools of different types and sizes.
Then, you'll combine all that with Spanish learning that sends you to study in places like Mexico and Peru. You’ll be guided by professors who are as passionate about Spanish education as you are. Through Calvin’s close connections with the local Spanish-speaking community, you’ll gain a wider perspective on your role as an educator.
You’ll graduate with classroom experience, spanish fluency, international perspective—everything you need to share your love of Spanish language and culture with a new generation of students.
