Complete your housing application
We know there’s a great roommate out there for you, and we want to help you find each other.
Calvin’s residence life program has an amazing record for producing successful roommate pairs, and they rely on the information you provide. If you’ve already chosen a roommate, be sure to list each other on your applications.
Note: your housing application won’t be processed until your enrollment deposit is received.
Choose your orientation program(s)
New Student Orientation involves more than just getting the lay of the land. Choose an orientation program and register to attend. Parents are encouraged to attend, too. But don’t stop there. Optional programs like Wilderness Orientation (think outdoor adventure) help you build community right away.
Complete your 3-minute academic questionnaire
You’ll want to be ready for your advising appointment during orientation; be sure to complete your 3-minute academic questionnaire at least 10 days prior to your orientation session. Your questionnaire is on your status page.
TIP: When will you meet with your advisor? Some orientation programs (PASSPORT, IMPACT or International PASSPORT) have your advising appointment built right into the day’s schedule. If you attend Admitted Student Day, your advising appointment will be scheduled during the summer, either on campus or by Skype or FaceTime.
We encourage every student to apply for financial aid.
