Each program is designed to challenge you academically, culturally, and spiritually. Whether you're studying medicine or global development, art or engineering, you will gain a new perspective that can only be reached by being there.

Semester in Ghana[Not currently offered] Studying at The University of Ghana for a semester will introduce you to a new and exciting culture and give you opportunities to learn a local language, music techniques, cooking methods and much more. |

Semester in FranceEverywhere you look, you'll see mountains: the Chartreuse range sits to the north and to the west towers the Vercors range; the Belledonne range fills in the view to the east. The Drac and Isère rivers intersect in the picturesque town of Grenoble, in a valley carved out by a glacier. Here, you will thrive as you deepen your understanding of the French language and culture. |

Semester in PeruSpend a semester in Arequipa, Peru in this advanced Spanish language program. Every other fall semester, you have the opportunity to study at the Universidad Católica San Pablo, live with a Peruvian family and take excursions to places like Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. |

The Henry Semester in Washington, D.C.In Washington, D.C. you'll gain a real-world perspective on the ideas you've learned in the classroom at Calvin. Whatever your major, you can work with the D.C. Internship Coordinator to find a place to gain valuable experience in your field of study. Participate in one of four tracks: Politics and Policy, Pre-Law, Social Work, or Strategic Communication. |

Application
Non-Calvin Programs
Beyond offering a wide variety of its own off-campus programs, Calvin also supports students who find other programs that they think better meet their needs. Below are non-Calvin programs in which Calvin students regularly participate.
If you are interested in studying on a non-Calvin program, you are encouraged to contact the Off-Campus Programs office for additional information. You will need to both complete the Calvin application process and an application for the non-Calvin program. We encourage you to consult this application process checklist for non-Calvin programs as a guide to the application procedure.
Calvin Exchange Programs
These programs an allow equal number of students to be exchanged between two schools. For each Calvin student who studies in an overseas institution, a student from that institution may attend Calvin. Students pay Calvin tuition (to Calvin) and are also responsible for other costs such as room and board, transportation, and immunizations.

Tuition: Regular Calvin tuition
Fees
- Off-Campus Programs fee: $450
- Insurance Fee: $250
- Lodging, food, transportation, and immunization fees as specified by the program
Financial Aid
- All federal and state aid can be applied to the costs of the program
- All Calvin financial aid can be applied to the costs of the program
Non-Calvin Programs
Cost
Tuition
- Calvin will pass through the tuition charged by the non-Calvin program.
Room and Board
- If a host program charges for housing, Calvin will charge that cost to the student.
- If a host program charges for food, Calvin will charge that cost to the student.
- In some cases, students may need to pay housing and/or food costs directly to the host program.
- In some cases, students are individually responsible for arranging room and board.
- NOTE: It is the student’s responsibility to learn what program costs will be the student’s obligation.

- Off-Campus Programs non-Calvin program fee: $450
Financial Aid
- All federal and state aid can be applied to the costs of the program
- No Calvin-specific financial aid may be used for the program cost.
