Welcome Week
Thursday, August 27 – Sunday, August 30
Welcome Week is for all new students at Calvin University.
You will be placed in a small group and go through interactive sessions that will prepare you to thrive and have a sense of belonging.
- Thursday Move-in, chapel service, Convocation, small group first meeting and opening session
- Friday Tech workshop, Meet your Major and Streetfest (service in the city), and other fun events in the city
- Saturday Step-up Dramas and discussion, From Every Nation workshops, dance
- Sunday Chapel service, Faith Dialogues, and Sem Pond reflections
We welcome some students earlier in August for special programming (ie, fall athletes). Please check your New Student Portal for the programs we've invited you to!
