Welcome Week

Thursday, August 28 – Monday, September 1

Welcome Week is for all new students at Calvin University.

You will be placed in a small group based on your CORE 100 class and go through interactive sessions that will prepare you to thrive and have a sense of belonging.

• Thursday  Move-in, chapel service, Convocation, small group first meeting and opening session
• Friday  Tech workshop, Meet your Major and Streetfest (service in the city), and other Fun in the City events
• Saturday  Step-up Dramas and discussion, From Every Nation workshops, dance
• Sunday  Chapel service, Faith Dialogues, and Sem Pond reflections
• Monday  Find Your Classes, open gym, live music and a cookout

We welcome some students earlier in August for special programming (ie, fall athletes). Please check your New Student Portal for the programs we've invited you to!
