Program Requirements & Opportunities
Speech pathology and audiology is an exciting and growing field. At Calvin, you'll work in our clinics providing care for patients studying the causes and treatment of a variety of disorders, all within the supporting framework of reformed Christian faith. You will also have the option of completing a thesis at the end of the program.
The Masters of Arts (M.A.) education program in speech-language pathology (residential and distance education) at Calvin University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.
Prospective graduate applicants with a degree or equivalent coursework in speech pathology and audiology or with degrees in other disciplines/areas of study may apply to the Speech Pathology MA program only. - GRE scores are not required.
- Enrollment in the MA program is also contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, fingerprint check, and drug screen.
