Residence hall living-learning communities

Looking for a different living experience altogether? Check out our living-learning communities, where you’ll have the chance to live with like-minded students in situations that emphasize community, social justice, honors-level study, outdoor recreation, athletics, and more.

Grassroots

The Grassroots community focuses on cultivating ethnic identities in Christ. Students on the Grassroots floor explore issues like racism, ethnic identity, and social justice through a course, regular meetings, and sharing meals together.

Honors

The Honors living-learning community is a place where highly-motivated students can encourage each other to learn well both inside and outside the classroom. Faculty mentors from the honors program help facilitate conversation through off-campus meals, service-learning projects, movie nights, and more.

Outdoor Recreation/Creation Care

Students on the Outdoor Recreation/Creation Care Floor share a deep love for God’s creation. Through activities that include hiking, kayaking, local watershed restoration, and tapping campus maple trees, you’ll learn more about what it means to care for the world God has given us.
