German education minors are strongly encouraged to participate in an abroad experience in a German-speaking country, such as a semester abroad program or a summer work or internship program.
Students must also pass an Oral Proficiency Interview. A rating of Advanced-Low on the ACTFL Proficiency Scale constitutes the minimum required level of proficiency.
