How to apply for scholarships
The application forms for named scholarships are available every year beginning December 1 and must be submitted by February 1. All of the scholarships for first-year students and current students are available online. All students who will be enrolled next academic year are encouraged to apply.
Many scholarships are available to engineering students, from college-level academic scholarships to named scholarships that are specific to the engineering department. Below, find a list of Calvin academic scholarships followed by named engineering scholarships.

2019–2020 scholarship program guidelines and eligibility
Calvin has academic scholarships that range from $10,000 to $20,000. They are awarded in December and determined based on the student's overall admission application, including standardized test scores and academic performance in high school. Updated GPAs and standardized test scores are accepted electronically from the testing organization through March 1.
Students who have achieved at least a 3.1 GPA and an ACT test score of 21 or SAT test score of 1100 are very likely to receive at least the Faculty's Scholarship. The following academic scholarships are available for up to five undergraduate years with a cumulative Calvin GPA of 3.0.
