Pre-Law Day
Calvin's pre-law program sponsors the biennial Pre-Law Day, alternating with the Pre-Law Program Trip to Chicago. The next Pre-Law Day will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. For more information, visit the Pre-Law Day page.
Pre-law Chicago Trip
The pre-law program sponsors a trip to Chicago every other year, alternating with Pre-Law Day at Calvin, which offers a number of interested Pre-Law students that opportunity to meet alumni attorneys in Chicago, attend a law school forum, and visit an area law school. The most recent trip was in the fall of 2019, with the next trip likely scheduled for fall 2022. For more information, visit the Pre-Law Trip to Chicago page.
Online opportunities related to preparing for and attending law school
Online Michigan State University Webinars
The Michigan State University College of Law sponsors regular online presentations of between 20 and 45 minutes focusing on a range of topics likely to be of interest to prospective law students. Webinars include a Q&A segment allowing participants the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters. Law School Admissions Council Law School Forums
The LSAC (Law School Admissions Council) regularly holds LSAC Law School Forums both digitally and in-person around the U.S. Attend a Forum to take advantage of a free opportunity to meet with representatives from over numerous accredited law schools. Talk with actual admissions representatives to learn about the application process, financial aid, legal specialties and more. Off-campus opportunities related to preparing for and attending law school
Law school recruiters on Calvin's campus
An admissions counselor from Regent Law School will be on campus from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. For information about the law school, visit the display table at Johnny's Cafe.
Admissions counselors and representatives from a number of law schools will be on campus for a mini-law school forum as part of Pre-Law Day at Calvin on October 19. The forum will be in the Fireside Room at the Prince Conference Center, and will include:

- Pepperdine Caruso School of Law
- University of Toledo College of Law
- Wayne State University Law School
- Western Michigan University Cooley Law School
- Written information will also be available for: DePaul University College of Law, Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, Regent University School of Law, University of Notre Dame Law School, and University of Wisconsin Law School
