Course Requirements 2016-17
Complete SOC-151 Sociological Principles and Perspectives.
Choose six electives from the sociology department's offerings.
Enroll in the fall semester course, SOC-380 Internship in Sociology, to gain practical experience in sociological practice or research. You will be placed in local business or non-profit organization and work eight hours per week under the direction of an on-site supervisor. You will also participate in a regular seminar with other students enrolled in the course and present a project on your internship work.
