Calvin's music program is specifically designed to bring out the best in you.
Through rigorous study and high-level performance opportunities across a broad spectrum of musical genres and styles, your skills will be refined and your mind sharpened, preparing you for a lifetime of musical excellence. Whatever you plan to do as a Christian musician, we will work closely with you to make you well-rounded and versatile, equipped to engage God’s world through music.
Students may choose General Music, Applied Music (Performance), Theory and Composition, or Music History. Many students combine music with a second major in Business, Engineering, English Literature, Writing, or Communications and Media Studies. Students who wish to prepare for careers in music and worship are encouraged to add the Ministry Leadership Minor with a Music in Worship emphasis.
