Candidates interested in teaching history should also consider the social studies major. The advisor-approved elective and ECON 151 are waived for students completing both the secondary history and secondary social studies majors. All majors must take at least two 300-level courses in addition to 375, 394, and 395. No course in which the candidate received a grade lower than a C- may count toward the major or minor.
