International Orientation
A program designed especially for international students and their adult family members. It takes place right before school starts in order to make the transition to Calvin as smooth as possible. We cover cultural, immigration, and logistical challenges, and we help students establish themselves in a strong community.

IMPACT Orientation
IMPACT is a new student orientation program for those who identify as Asian, Black, Latin, Middle Eastern, multi-racial, Native American, Pacific Islander, or simply as a student of color.

Poetry Jam
This is an annual event for students to showcase their poetic and musical talents. It is an evening of artistic exploration including spoken word, music, and visual art. Let us know if you're interested!

International Education Week
Each November, Calvin celebrates International Education Week. Highlights of this week include a student-led International Worship Service, workshops and seminars highlighting different international topics, an international movie, and of course, an offering of international foods and crafts—all designed for the campus' learning and enjoyment.

World Food Festival
International students prepare some of their delicious traditional dishes and in doing so, share a piece of their “home” with the Calvin community in a festival-like atmosphere.

Student-led and student-planned events. Events include Native American Heritage Month, Martin Luther King Day, Black History Month, Women's History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage.
