Calvin English majors love the department so much that they don’t want to say goodbye. And while they do move into new jobs with the versatile skill set they’ve developed, many of them are still connected to a thriving alumni blog called the post calvin.
The post calvin is a testament to the kinds of thinkers and writers the Calvin English department produces. The writers of the post calvin have landed in a diverse range of careers, countries, interests, and beliefs. But they all know how to tell an authentic story.
“I started reading the post calvin while I was at Calvin. I remember wanting to be one of the writers someday,” shared Kate Parsons, a graduate of the English department and a writer for the post calvin. “I love being part of a group of thoughtful writers who are going through the same things in different contexts.”
See for yourself what kinds of writers are drawn to—and don’t want to leave—Calvin’s English department.
