The Teaching and Learning Network (TLN) supports Calvin’s faculty in their development as classroom instructors. The TLN functions as a learning center for faculty development in this role.
Services provided by the TLN include:
- The New Faculty Program is designed to promote a robust, research-grounded understanding of teaching and learning. This 3-semester program is intended for those new(er) to teaching at Calvin.
- Consulting services are available for all faculty, but especially for persons more experienced to teaching at Calvin and who wish to refine their approaches to classroom instruction.
- A rich collection of faculty resources on teaching and learning is available upon request from the TLN Library.
Participation is voluntary and confidential.
TLN is staffed by three faculty teaching fellows who welcome your questions.
