The course will primarily focus on the great tradition of English sacred choral music sung in its cathedrals over the centuries that continues to this day.

The trip begins in Cardiff, Wales with Llandaff cathedral, a medieval place of worship, then attending and participating in services in several historic English cathedrals including Coventry, King’s College and Chapel in Cambridge, Ely, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Salisbury, and ending with Capella serving as an anchor choir in an international choral festival in Winchester Cathedral, England’s ancient capital. The course is taught by the instructor through rehearsals and performances, along with guided tours by experts to the cathedrals mentioned. Students will experience worship in the distinctive Anglican service and enjoy communion with another part of the Body of Christ through fellowship and song.
