Study at Lingnan University, a historically faith-based liberal arts university in Hong Kong.

Lingnan University, founded in 1967, the only government-funded liberal arts university in Hong Kong, traces its heritage to its predecessor in China, first established in 1888. The University is small, warm, friendly, and welcoming. It has a relatively small student number amongst the universities in Hong Kong and is committed to maintaining a close faculty and student relationship. The campus is about 8.6 hectares and is located in Tuen Mun in the New Territories. Currently, the University offers undergraduate and research postgraduate programmes in Arts (Chinese, Cultural Studies, English, History, Philosophy, Translation,Visual Studies), Business Administration(Accountancy, Computing and Decision Sciences, Finance and Insurance, Management, Marketing and International Business)and Social Sciences(Applied Psychology,Economics, Political Sciences and Sociology and Social Policy). The University also offers taught postgraduate programmes (Master of Arts in Chinese, Master of Arts in Practical Philosophy, Master of Cultural Studies, Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour, Master of Science in International Banking and Finance, Master of Science in Marketing and International Business, Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy/Master of Accountancy).

Eligibility

You must be of sophomore status and have 2.5 GPA or higher to study in Hong Kong. Programs at LU are open to all majors.

This semester in Hong Kong is a non-Calvin program but students remain eligible for Calvin financial aid at the same level as if they were on campus.
