  • Don't tell people when you are going on vacation.  It is handy for a criminal to know when you will be out of town.
  • Pictures of your get together last weekend could keep you from getting your next job.  Employers and other organizations research potential candidates social media presence before making an offer.
  • When selecting secret questions and answers for an online account, do not use information that could be found on social media.
  • Anything on social media can be used in a scam or phishing attempt against you.
