Kelly LeCoy, a 2011 Calvin grad, won the most recent 5x5, an initiative launched by ArtPrize founder Rick DeVos, which helps someone develop an idea into a commercial reality. On Tuesday, May 31, LeCoy presented her idea, "Uptown Kitchen," to a panel of judges at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. The judges praised her efforts and awarded her $5,000 to put toward the project. Since March, LeCoy has won Calvin's Biz Plan competition, the West Michigan Regional Biz Plan Competition and now the 5x5.
