Favorite Calvin memory

Coming to Calvin to watch a workshop play of two favorite novels (Wednesday Wars by Gary Schmidt; The Book of the Dun Cow by Walter Wangerin, Jr.), I felt the tension of "How can they produce these stories on the stage?!?" My tension slipped away as the characters stood before me on the stage, replaced by joy. My whole family was delighted.

What part of Calvin's mission resonates with you, and why?

Calvin's mission is deeply impacting because it opens my whole heart, mind, spirit to the part of the world that God has placed me in. Knowledge, skills, care of others come together in a vibrant opportunity to live into my life, where ever I am, whoever I am with--Calvin's mission travels with me and informs what I am doing.
