Opening Convocation marks the official kickoff to the academic year, and it holds special significance for our incoming students and their families as they begin their journey here at Calvin.
During this one-hour event, we have the opportunity to hear brief reflections from Irene Kraegel, director of Calvin’s Center for Counseling and Wellness, Adejoke Ayoola, dean for the School of Health, Jesús Delgado, academic counselor in the Center for Student Success, and Bear de Boo, Calvin’s student body president.
Let's join together at Van Noord Arena at 1:45 p.m. for this event. In order that all faculty and staff can attend, campus offices will close at 1:30 p.m. and reopen at 3:00 p.m.
