Since 2006, Calvin has invited some of the area’s most talented band students to participate in its High School Honor Band Festival. The event includes a full day of rehearsal as well as some opportunities in which participants interact with current Calvin faculty and students. This year we are honored to welcome Dr. Russell Mikkleson (Director of Bands, Ohio State University) to campus as guest conductor/clinician. The HS Honor Band Festival will be held in the CFAC on Tuesday, October 24, and concludes with an evening performance featuring the Calvin Wind Ensemble and HS Honor Band. The concert begins at 7pm in the CFAC auditorium.
TICKETS: Admission is free; tickets are not required.
