From Helping that Hurts to Local Self-Sustainability
Travel with Dennis and Jeni Hoekstra to Africa and discover through pictures and oral presentation how and why they have for the past 16 years served the poor there toward self-sufficiency. Focusing primarily on Kenya, they will share what they and their Kenya partners have learned in working together to overcome the problem of intractable poverty.
