Valerie June
Valerie June Hockett (born January 10, 1982), known as Valerie June, is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Her sound encompasses a mixture of folk, blues, gospel, soul, country, Appalachian and bluegrass. She is signed to Fantasy Records, and its parent company, Concord Music Group worldwide.
Thao
Thao Nguyen (born March 19, 1984), also known as Thao, is an American singer-songwriter originally from Virginia and now based in San Francisco. She is the former lead singer, songwriter and figurehead of the defunct band Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, and has collaborated with Joanna Newsom and Andrew Bird. Outside of the band she has collaborated on projects with several artists including Merrill Garbus, The Portland Cello Project, and Mirah. Her music is influenced by folk, country, and hip hop.
Yasmin Williams
Yasmin Williams (born 1996/1997) is an American composer and solo performing finger-style guitarist from northern Virginia. She plays several instruments like the kalimba, harp-guitar, and guitar with the strings facing up while on her lap.
Rachael Davis
Multi-instrumentalist Rachael Davis is as renown for her expressive--and explosive--voice as she is for uniting the often-disparate worlds of folk, blues, country, and pop.
