Debra Freeberg is professor of communication and director of theatre emerita at Calvin University. She has led students and alumni groups to explore culture, faith and arts in Scandinavia as well as Ireland, England and Scotland; she also regularly leads a popular CALL Shakespeare trip to Stratford, Ontario.
This tour will have a moderate pace with plenty of walking around museums, ruins, and castles. Participants should be able to walk 1-2 miles fairly easily on walking tours and rambles. Once we arrive at a site, we will be on foot until departure. (Not all sites have easy access to taxis.)
The tour cost is $5,154 from Grand Rapids, based on double occupancy. The single-room supplement is $648. Please email email@example.com if you would like to request a print copy of the tour brochure.
Optional travel protection is available through Travelex Insurance Services. See their website for a helpful overview of what coverage is included or excluded related to COVID-19 as well as the full policy details.
This tour is planned for 25 participants and all registration will be on a first-come basis. Register via the Witte Travel website or mail your registration to Witte Travel.
