In the Footsteps of Nelson Mandela
Focusing on the life and works of Nelson Mandela and the political changes that occurred within South Africa with the end of apartheid, this trip will take us to Johannesburg and Cape Town, on game drives in Addo Elephant National Park, along the Garden Route (a road famous for its beauty and biodiversity), and through a country with constantly changing landscapes, many races, cultures and languages.
About Your Trip Leader
John Apol, Calvin alumnus and CALL member, is a frequent traveler to South Africa, having led four student interim tours and other Alumni Travel excursions there.
Cost
$6,549 per person from Grand Rapids, based on double occupancy. Departures from other cities arranged upon request. Final cost will be determined after air arrangements are booked.
