Wind Ensemble Night at the Museum

The Calvin Wind Ensemble concludes its 2016-17 concert season on Saturday, May 5 at 8:00pm in the CFAC Auditorium. Come spend “A Night at the Museum,” as we explore a series of works based upon visual art. The program includes Matthew Tommasini’s Torn Canvases, John Wesley Gibson’s Resting in the Peace of His Hands, Karel Husa’s Al Fresco, and a transcription of Adam Schoenberg’s Picture Studies. Come enjoy a varied program and celebrate a wonderful year of music-making by talented students.

Arrive early or stay after and explore the beauty of the Center Art Gallery located in the CFAC West Lobby. The Center Art Gallery is hosting special “A Night at the Museum” hours and will be featuring the BA Senior Art Majors Exhibition. Art Majors and Exhibitions Director, Brent Williams, will be on hand to discuss the pieces on display with guests.
