Have you ever heard the phrase, 'You don't really know someone until you've lived with them?' It's true! If you are an upperclass student who is living off campus, perhaps for the first time, we have designed an event with you in mind. Maybe you and a few of your friends have decided to live together for the first time. Will your friendship survive this new hurdle of sharing a common cooking, living, and bathroom space? Or perhaps you're living with a mix of friends and acquaintances, or all complete strangers, and you're worried you're not going to like them all. How will you make the most of this living situation, where you all can live together well and weather the inevitable conflicts that will arise? Residence Life is hosting an event on September 19 from 9 to 12 called "Nuts and Bolts: Practical Tools for Living Together Well." Bagels and coffee will be provided, and in addition to workshops on various helpful topics, you and your housemates will have the opportunity to discuss and put into practice what you've learned. Sign up by indicating your interest to Jasmine at jlw36@calvin.edu
