Donna Freitas, religion professor at Boston University, will speak about her research into the relationship between spiritual formation and sexual practice at three types of college campus: secular, Catholic and evangelical.
"For my money her most significant conclusion is that in the main it is only evangelical students who ponder the connections between sexuality and spirituality. Students who identify as Catholic, mainline Protestant, 'spiritual but not religious,' or any other religious persuasion tend not to connect their spiritual or religious commitments to their sexual choices."
