So you think you know what to expect from another band concert? Don’t be so sure! On Thursday, March 10, the Calvin Wind Ensemble will offer a program of music that goes “against the grain.” From the quiet repose of John Mackey’s Hymn to a Blue Hour to the tonal Theme and Variations, Op. 43a by famed serialist composer Arnold Schoenberg, you won’t want to miss this concert of “Denied Expectations.” Come enjoy an evening that is different than the “norm!” This performance starts at 7:30 PM in the CFAC Auditorium.
