- 9:00 AM–10:30 AM
- Knollcrest Dining Hall Dining Hall 3 (south)
For parents, and family members as desired, of current Calvin students
Update: As of Tuesday morning, we have 12 spaces remaining. Registration will remain open until the event reaches capacity.
Gather with fellow parents and families for breakfast hosted by the Calvin Parent Council and Calvin administrators.
Breakfast will feature a deluxe pancake buffet—with whip cream, berry, chocolate chip, cinnamon, and other fun toppings—as well as scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit.
Following the meal, President Le Roy will share some Calvin University campus highlights and insight on where Calvin is headed with its Vision 2030 plans, and he will take questions from parents as time permits.
Dress is casual. Consider wearing Calvin gear!
Registration is $10 for all guests, and registration will be available until September 27 or the event is full.
Note about parking: Please arrive by 8:50 a.m., park in Lot 9 (CFAC) or Lot 8 (KHvR), and walk the paths through the residence halls to Knollcrest. Due to fire code regulations, guests will not be able to park on the road in front of Knollcrest / BV / NVW. If there is a guest in your party who would find this walk challenging, please contact Deanna at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for an accessible parking space.
Note about guests: While this event will primarily focus on parents meeting other parents and hearing from President Le Roy, your Calvin students and other family members are welcome to come if they are interested—simply include them in your registration for this event.
For students and siblings who want a different option, the normal student breakfast will be available at the Commons Dining Hall this Saturday morning. Your student's meal plan can be used there. For siblings, your student can use an extra "block" of their meal plan or pay the special Family Weekend guest rate of $6 (0–4 years are free; 5–11 years are $3) at the door. Hours are 9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
The registration deadline has passed.
