The William Spoelhof Society invites members to the third event of the 2020–2021 Society Series.

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute in Hastings, MI.

William Spoelhof Society (WSS) members will be treated to a fresh air experience that can be self-guided hiking or a guided birding tour. Guests will be provided with a trail map and refreshments. We will have Bill Sweetman, local birding expert, on hand for those interested in experiencing the variety of birds that call this preserve home. We will be following COVID-19 social distancing protocol during this guided tour.

This event will be weather dependent. In case of inclement weather, you will receive a cancellation notice via email. Please note that Pierce Cedar Creek features unpaved trails, some of which are challenging, but does provide benches along the trails for rest. Our gathering will be outdoors, though the visitors center will be open with COVID guidelines in place, so please bring a face mask should you want or need to go indoors.

For any questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Gift Planning by calling (616) 526-8719 or by emailing jlc35@calvin.edu.
