UNLEARN Week is our kickoff event for our year-round program series: UNLEARN 365. During this week, we will be providing a safe campus-wide forum for conversations designed to UNLEARN biases and promote biblical antiracism.
Presenter: Lyonel LaGrone
LaGrone will highlight the importance of recognizing racism as a public health threat. A threat that shortens lives and reduces the quality of life in a manner similar to smoking or obesity. He will also discuss why the United States as well as states, counties and cities should formally identify systemic racism as a public health crisis.
