Join Prof. Gary Schmidt at the Detroit Institute of Arts for a Star Wars celebration!
Star Wars and Calvin College will meet at the Detroit Institute of Arts on Saturday, August 25 at 1 p.m., and you're invited!
Come to the DIA to check out the "Star Wars and the Power of Costume" exhibit, and hear Calvin English professor Gary Schmidt read his short story, featured in the "Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View" collection. (Get your copy here!)
The reading will start at 1:30 p.m., and you'll have the rest of the afternoon to browse the exhibit and permanent collections in the museum. Doors will open at 1 p.m. so that you can arrive early and get a seat.
