Summary: Kaitlyn Etienne describes community-based environmental projects she worked on as a US Peace Corps volunteer partnered with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Culasi, Antique, Philippines. Topics include a response to a Crown-of-Thorns sea star outbreak, a campaign to reduce the use of single-use plastics, an environmental camp with a focus on empowering young women, and social enterprise pilot programs for upcycled and plastic alternative products.
