In this talk Jenell Williams Paris will examine some powerful cultural myths about sex, and how they can lead to distorted expectations for marriage and intimacy.
Jenell Williams Paris is professor of anthropology and sociology at Messiah College in Grantham, PA. She teaches, writes, and speaks on issues of sexuality and gender in Christian perspective. Jenell has published many articles and books, including Urban Disciples: A Beginner's Guide to Serving God in the City and Birth Control for Christians: Making Wise Choices.
