Tour leader

Ken Bratt, Calvin professor of classics emeritus and popular CALL teacher, will provide a few evening lectures along with the daily site visits

The tour will involve a significant amount of walking, some of it on uneven terrain. Most travel will be by tourist coach and a charter boat. Strenuous climbing or hiking will be optional. The second half of the trip (the cruise) will be more relaxed than the first.

The tour cost is estimated to be $5999 with cruise ship rooms on the main (middle) deck or $5749 with cruise ship rooms on the lower deck. These prices are based on double occupancy and include flights from Chicago as well as bus transfer from Grand Rapids. The tour is set for 36 participants.
