Calvin University's Nagel Institute welcomes visiting scholars Oluwatoyin Olokodana-James, Ph.D. from Nigeria and Marie Joy Pring, Ph.D. from the Philippines. Each will give a min-lecture on their current research and answer questions afterwards.
Oluwatoyin will present, "Christians can't be Feminists: A Reflection of African Reality or Religion?"
Marie will present, "“Ugnayan: How the Christian Faith and Filipino Culture Build Relationships that Help Urban Poor Women Survive and Thrive.”
