Justin Lee will speak about the origins, motivation, and truth behind the groups that claim gays can become straight, and draw implications for how to have a healthy Christian dialogue. This is a timely topic in light of the announcement by Alan Chambers in June 2013 about the closing of Exodus International, which formerly promoted orientation-change therapies.

Justin Lee is Executive Director of The Gay Christian Network, which he founded in 2001 as a place for Christ-centered support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and those who care about them. Justin speaks across the country, and has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Dr. Phil, Anderson Cooper 360, NPR’s All Things Considered, and a front page article in The New York Times. His speaking and writing is characterized by a desire to focus on Christ in all things. Justin is the author of “Torn: Rescuing the Gospel from the Gays-vs.-Christians Debate” and the director of the documentary film “Through My Eyes.”
