A Mass Baptism of 50 West Africans in Southern France in 1681: What Does It Mean?

Join us on Thursday, March 31 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Meeter Center Lecture Hall for a lecture on a surprising event in late 17th - century France with many implications for the present. Jolene Vos-Camy, Professor of French and chevalière des Palmes Académiques will speak about her recently published sabbatical research on a mass baptism in 1681 in Marseille, France.
