King Midas, Orpheus and Eurydice, Apollo and Cupid – these Ancient characters and others are brought to magical life in this unique theatrical experience. Winner of several Tony Awards and nominated for Best New Play, Metamorphoses dramatizes the tales of Ovid through gorgeous images, lyricism, music, and dance. Set in and around a pool of water, Metamorphoses explores the meaning of classical myths in our lives, depicting the transformative power of love.
