About Us

We at Calvin University value diversity and seek to embody inclusion. The professors and community partners who contribute to the Diversity & Inclusion for All (DIFA) project share their expertise and experiences in hopes that we together with you can continue to learn and grow in our understanding of the diversity of people, cultures, beliefs, and experiences in our communities—locally and globally.

The DIFA project is designed to help grow our knowledge, build skills, and develop strategies for engaging in good ways across lines of difference. In our nation and perhaps in many other parts of our world, we are challenged by polarization and tribalization.

The DIFA project is one attempt to help all of us navigate our current moment, practicing how to respectfully engage with others and figuring out what it means to love our neighbors as ourselves.
