Introduction
Launch your career promoting holistic wellness with Calvin University's Health and Physical Education PK-12 Major, a rigorous program that prepares you to instruct and inspire students from preschool through 12th grade. You’ll gain hands-on experience by training in the Human Performance Lab. Calvin is one of the few Christian colleges or universities to offer a neuroscience program. You can investigate the brain from several angles by choosing one of the Neuroscience concentrations offered through Psychology, Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry. Within the Psychology-Neuroscience program you’ll focus on the psychology of cognition, behavior, and brain function by selecting from courses in psychology, philosophy, biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science.
Far from being narrow, studying neuroscience here is a broadening and enriching experience. You’ll ask questions not only about the mind and brain but about what makes us human from a Christian perspective.
