Calvin offers payment plans that allow students and their parents to spread out annual university costs, including tuition, fees, room and board.
Fall – your payment for fall semester courses (in either the first or the second 8-week term) is due on August 25.
Spring – your payment for spring semester courses (in either the first or the second 8-week term) is due on January 5.
Summer – see summer due dates
Find your online statement through the Student Payment Center. You can pay by e-check, mailed check, or credit card (for an extra fee).

Know your Payment Plan options
If you are signing up for a payment a new statement will be generated on Mondays and Thursdays through August 25th. Students can choose from three Payment Plan schedules:
- Pay in full each semester, no additional fee
- Two payments per semester, $60 non-refundable fee charged each semester
- Four payments per semester, $60 non-refundable fee charged each semester
Choose a Payment Plan
If you are planning to pay the semester in full there is no need for any further action. Paying in full will be the default payment plan for everyone unless a payment plan is selected.
For students choosing the two or four payment plan, plan enrollment is completed online in using our One-time payment tool. You will be asked to pay the Fall semester's payment plan fee of $60 when you enroll. The $60 Spring semester fee will be billed to your Miscellaneous Charges Account in December with payment due on January 5th.
Parents will need their student(s) to set them up as authorized users before accessing the Student Billing & Payment Center .
Invite other payers
Calvin University in partnership with Transact via the Student Billing & Payment Center provides a secure place to view statements, store banking information in a secure spot, schedule repeating payments, make a one time payment, and have access to payment history. Students may set up parents and guardians as authorized users of the Student Billing & Payment Center. This will enable parents to access this tool with their own username and password
To add an authorized user to an account, students will need to:
- Log into the Student Billing & Payment Center using their Calvin username and passphrase
- On the Transact home screen select Send a payer invitation.
- Complete the form on the following screen to set up a new authorized payee.
- After submitting this form, the user will receive an email containing their username, temporary password and link to sign into the Student Billing and Payment Center. Instructions that include direction for parents managing multiple student accounts.
View your billing statement
E-bill is a service where students, parents and authorized users can access student account information online. Your e-bill will be available approximately two weeks prior to each due date. Students and authorized users will be notified by email when an e-bill is available for viewing.
You must set up parents/guardians as authorized users before they can view statements. Even if you have already granted a third party permission to pay bills, you must also grant permission for the third party to view billing statements.
Make a payment
The Student Billing & Payment Center is a secure place to save your banking information, pay scheduled payments or make one time payments. Parents, to use this tool you must be first be authorized by your student.
Make a secure payment without log-in information. This is a one time payment tool. In order to make an e-check payment, you will need your bank account number, bank routing number, and student ID number. There is a 2.75% fee for making payment via credit or debit card.
