This event featured Mary Tuuk '86. Mary is the President and CEO of the Grand Rapids Symphony, one of America’s leading regional orchestras. Mary studied music and business at Calvin, served as an executive in banking and at Meijer, before connecting her musical passion with her professional pursuits. Mary spoke about The Future of Music as she shared the story of the Grand Rapids Symphony and many of the innovative strategies they’ve employed in becoming and remaining a top orchestra and cultural force in Grand Rapids and around the country.
The Future of Poverty
Michelle VanDyke, CEO of Heart of West Michigan United Way, introduces ALICE, the truths about the working poor families living among us, to the Calvin University Executive Breakfast Series.
