Your Transition Options

Teach-out

If your program is listed below, you can follow the teach-out agreement. This means you will get:

  • Automatic admission as long as you are in good standing
  • Automatic transfer of all your academic credits
  • Expect to finish your degree in the same amount of time as you would have at Trinity
  • Same or similar net out-of-pocket tuition cost (this may not include room and board guarantees)
  • The option to keep your roommate if they also transfer to Calvin

Transfer

Don't see your program on the teach-out list below? There is still a place for you at Calvin!

You'll follow the typical transfer process and work with admissions counselors who are eager to make it a smooth transition.

Transferring does not offer all the guarantees that teach-out agreements offer. You will have the option to keep your roommate if they also transfer to Calvin.

Teach-out Programs

As a teach-out partner, Calvin will accept all previous credits earned at Trinity, ensuring that you are able to stay on track, and finish your program of study on-time. We will link to the specific plans for each of our teach-out programs as they are finalized. We are working to complete these plans as soon as possible so please check back frequently.

The information below is meant to serve as a guide to explain how previous course credits would apply to your chosen major. Occasionally, courses taken at Trinity might not have an exact match to Calvin courses. These courses will still apply to your major, but how they map towards the completion of your degree might vary from one major to the next. Please rest assured that this will be resolved through your advising process.
