The Calvin Classic 5K has been bringing community members together for a fun, energizing morning for over 30 years. This fall, we'll be hosting both an in-person AND virtual race on October 5, 2024.

How does this work?

Sign up for the Calvin Classic 5K! Registration is open until Oct. 5. There's also a Virtual Youth Fun Run available for ages 3-9.

If you sign up by Sept. 11, you’ll receive your race day shirt, bib, and a Calvin sticker in the mail the week of the race (assuming mail can reach you from Grand Rapids in 5-7 days). Otherwise, you'll get your shirt after the race.
- Map out a 5K route where it is convenient to you and get running (or walking, or handcycling)! Yes, you can participate from anywhere in the world! This must be done by October 5, 2024.

Make sure to share a photo or video of yourself in your race day shirt and bib to social media using the hashtags #CalvinClassic5K #CalvinHomecoming2024 as well as email alumni@calvin.edu with your photos.

NOTE: This is a GREAT opportunity to gather with fellow alumni in your region. If you’re interested in getting a group together, contact the Calvin alumni office for details.
