The Virtual Youth Fun Run is for children ages 3–9. Children may walk or run distances from 100 yards up to a quarter mile (or whatever distance they are most comfortable with).

How does this work?

Sign your child up for the Calvin Classic Virtual Youth Fun Run! Registration is open until Oct. 5.

If you sign up by Sept. 16, you’ll receive your race day shirt, bib, and a Calvin sticker in the mail the last week of September (assuming mail from Grand Rapids can reach you in 5-7 days). Otherwise, you'll get your shirt after the race.
- Make sure to share a photo or video of your child running the race to social media using the hashtags #CalvinClassicYouthFunRun #CalvinHomecoming2024 and also email alumni@calvin.edu with your photos.
Make this fun for your child! Some ideas:
- set-up "official" start and finish lines
- decorate the course with fun handmade items
- cheer them on loudly!
Make sure to send race day photos to alumni@calvin.edu.
Youth participants will receive a short-sleeved t-shirt and finisher ribbon.
