September 21 | 10 - 11:30 AM | Botanical Inks Workshop with Gabby Eisma

Did you know that nearly everything in nature can be experimented with to create an ink? It just may not turn out the way you expect. Join us for a workshop of experimental communal discovery with botanical inks!

Join children’s book illustrator and designer, Gabrielle Eisma, for a class of colorful botanical inking with freshly foraged leaves and flowers. In this class, you will be introduced to many plant sources that create inks, and learn how to modify homemade ink to create different natural colors, and learn tips and tricks for making your own botanical ink. You will leave with a booklet of botanical ink recipes and tips for every color of the rainbow you can make in your own kitchen or studio, and a homemade color chart from the specially made inks from the class!
