School of Health construction projects are currently in phase 2.
Phase 1
This phase includes the relocation of the Speech and Hearing Clinic from DeVos Communication Center to North Hall, which was completed in April 2023. During the summer of 2023, selected North Hall main floor classrooms will be were renovated for Speech Pathology, and new faculty offices will be constructed adjacent to the classrooms.
Phase 2 We are here
During the 2023–2024 academic year, a new cadaver lab will be constructed in the space formerly occupied by the West Michigan Regional Lab. The cadaver lab is currently in the design process with construction scheduled to begin late in 2023 and the lab will be ready for classes in late August of 2024.
Phase 3
An additional simulation lab and related health science classroom will be constructed adjacent to the cadaver lab and additional renovations and relocations within the School of Health will accompany this work, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of the summer of 2024.
